Description
We are looking for a Product Owner to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Product Owner represents customer needs, manages the team backlog, and ensures PeopleSoft‑related deliverables provide maximum value.
Responsibilities
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize the team backlog
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams
- Ensure deliverables meet business and mission needs
- Support Agile ceremonies and sprint execution
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any field/major, OR three (3) additional years of experience without a degree in Information Technology
- Three (3) years of experience as a SAFe RTE, Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master
- At least one (1) year of experience specifically as a Product Owner
- Three (3) years of experience working with PeopleSoft
Required Skills
- Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ability to manage and prioritize a product/team backlog
- Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and development teams
- Hands‑on experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies
Desired Skills
- Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager
Security Clearance
- Must hold an active Top‑Secret clearance, either with an SCI or SCI eligibility
