Description

We are looking for a Product Owner to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Product Owner represents customer needs, manages the team backlog, and ensures PeopleSoft‑related deliverables provide maximum value.

Responsibilities

• Define user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize the team backlog
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams
• Ensure deliverables meet business and mission needs
• Support Agile ceremonies and sprint execution

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any field/major, OR three (3) additional years of experience without a degree in Information Technology
• Three (3) years of experience as a SAFe RTE, Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master
• At least one (1) year of experience specifically as a Product Owner
• Three (3) years of experience working with PeopleSoft

Required Skills

• Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria
• Ability to manage and prioritize a product/team backlog
• Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and development teams
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies

Desired Skills

• Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager

Security Clearance

• Must hold an active Top‑Secret clearance, either with an SCI or SCI eligibility
