You connect strategy with operations, tooling with processes, and IT with real value. From portfolio to deployment, from service request to incident resolution. You ensure that IT works as a chain, not as isolated islands.

The Challenge

You will become the Product Owner of our new IT4IT team, the digital backbone of the IT organization. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that other IT teams can deliver value faster, safer, and more consistently to the municipalities and the work development company we work for. You will provide a standardized and automated service delivery model.

As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the IT4IT product portfolio. The total package of processes, tools, and standards that supports and structures the internal IT function. Everything scalable, reusable, measurable, and continuously developing. You translate strategic goals into concrete propositions within the value streams. You focus on automation, standardization, and chain integration.

Other things you will do:

• Develop and maintain a clear product vision for IT4IT, from strategy to operations.
• Translate business and IT strategies into a roadmap and backlog. The focus is on automation, efficiency, and reusability.
• Prioritize initiatives based on value creation, risks, dependencies, and alignment with IT value chains, such as R2D and D2C.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure coherence and standardization.
• Guide sprints, releases, and team activities. Everything to make the new team a well-oiled machine.
• Monitor the performance, customer satisfaction, and lead times of IT4IT services. You steer towards measurable improvement.
• Make IT services transparent and traceable. You use the IT4IT framework to work on a well-organized, repeatable, and future-proof service delivery.
• Actively contribute to the new way of working. From ad-hoc to standard. From manual to automated. And from fragmentation to chain-oriented work.

Your Qualities

You are an experienced Product Owner who knows everything about backlog and roadmap management. You move smoothly between different stakeholders. You effortlessly translate their wishes into clear user stories for your IT colleagues. Conversely, you can explain technical details well to business operations and the municipalities and work development companies we work for. You use data to determine what delivers the most value and to substantiate your choices.

Furthermore, you have:

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in business administration, computer science, or IT management.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role within an IT organization. Preferably with experience in value streams, service delivery, or IT management frameworks.
• Knowledge of the IT4IT framework and value stream thinking within IT.
• Demonstrable experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
