As a Product Owner, you will not only be responsible for a backlog but for a product used by international customers in a complex SAP environment.

You will ensure that business requirements are translated into clear, implementable, and high-quality solutions, bringing structure, reliability, and speed to our delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, structuring and refining requirements is primarily in your hands to guarantee smooth implementation by the development team.

You will precisely translate business needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories, backing them with clear acceptance criteria. A significant part of your daily work involves backlog management, where you constantly balance product goals, business impact, and technical feasibility.

You are not only responsible for the content but also significantly contribute to the smooth functioning of delivery within the team. Through clear processes, stable planning, and reliable execution, you create the structure in which the team can work efficiently and focused.

Furthermore, you ensure that all requirements are thoroughly understood from a business perspective and technically prepared to meet the Definition of Ready. Coordinating central delivery processes – from refinements and sprint planning to reviews and retrospectives – is also part of your area of responsibility.

Thanks to your foresight, risks, dependencies, and ambiguities are identified early and proactively addressed by you.

Close collaboration with development, product management, and international stakeholders completes your profile, ensuring maximum transparency about progress, quality, and the overall delivery at all times.

Qualifications

You have several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role in product management or software development. Ideally, you have already worked in the SAP environment or with complex system landscapes.

You are capable of analyzing, structuring, and translating complex requirements into actionable units. You act as an interface between business and technology and always maintain an overview. You work in a structured manner, set clear priorities, and consistently bring topics to completion.

A strong sense of responsibility for results, quality, and delivery characterizes you, as does your confident communication in German and English, and your enjoyment of collaborating with international stakeholders.
