We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to support a Data department within a major player in the media and digital sector in managing its Data Activation & Personalization projects.
In an environment with high digital transformation stakes, you will be involved in subjects related to data collection, user journey personalization, CRM/Acquisition/Advertising activation, as well as data quality and governance.
Responsibilities
Within the Data Activation & Personalization team, you will be responsible for project management and the orchestration of workstreams to meet the needs of business teams.
As such, you will be required to:
Pilot and prioritize Data workstreams
- Participate in workshops for gathering and scoping business needs
- Challenge requests on functional and technical aspects
- Identify workstreams to launch: new collections, new flows, new indicators, specific targeting, etc.
- Prioritize topics based on the roadmap, dependencies, and ecosystem constraints
Ensure delivery
- Coordinate the different project stages, from scoping to production
- Write user stories and populate the backlog
- Manage work progress in Jira
- Follow up on continuous improvement actions for the team's products and processes
Guarantee data quality
- Ensure the proper collection, transformation, and availability of data
- Monitor the construction and exploitation of data products for activation and personalization
- Supervise data transfers to target applications: CDP, marketing automation tools, etc.
- Control data quality, participate in acceptance testing and monitoring of production usage
- Identify anomalies and manage their resolution
Structure documentation and communication
- Produce and maintain project documentation on Confluence
- Contribute to the preparation of communication materials and progress reviews
- Ensure visibility of decisions, arbitration, risks, and action plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Data Teams
- Product Teams
- Business and technical stakeholders in CRM, acquisition, advertising, customer service, etc.
Qualifications
- You have more than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in a data platform environment
- You have already worked on data collection, activation, and exploitation issues
- You are familiar with CDP environments, ideally Mediarithmics
- You master CRM, acquisition, and advertising targeting issues
- You are comfortable with GDPR / ePrivacy compliance topics
- You master Jira, Confluence, Slack tools
- You have good, or even strong, SQL skills
- You know how to manage a backlog, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and advance complex topics in a transverse environment
- You are recognized for your communication, your ability to challenge, your organizational skills, and your team spirit
