As a Product Owner Data, you ensure that data is not only available but actually delivers value. You translate strategic goals into a clear data vision and roadmaps, and together with stakeholders, you determine priorities. You operate at the intersection of business, data, and IT, ensuring everyone works in the same direction. You translate needs into concrete data products, user stories, and clear choices. You maintain an overview and ensure that initiatives are actually realized.

What you can do as an expert

You steer for maximum value from data solutions and are responsible for the direction of the data product. You prioritize the backlog and make clear choices about what is built and why. You work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring a clear translation of business needs into concrete solutions. You are a strong sparring partner who can balance interests and guide development from idea to implementation.

What building blocks do you bring

• You have ± 10 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• Experience in complex organizations or environments
• Strong in translating business to IT solutions
• Strong communication skills towards both business and IT
• Good substantive knowledge of IT concepts
• You know how to position yourself as a substantive expert and act as a sparring partner
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages
• Completed bachelor's or master's degree
