About the Role

The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for delivering maximum value ("maximize the value of the product resulting from the Squad's work"). To achieve this, they must:

  • Effectively manage their backlog.
  • Ensure the backlog is transparent and clear so that Agile Team members can take ownership and deliver quality increments that meet user expectations. They have the necessary mandate, with their squad, to prioritize their Product's work.

Your Main Missions as a Product Owner:

Define Product Trajectory and Communicate

  • Contribute to defining the product trajectory and communicate it to the Squad.
  • Work with the Product Manager, Product Experts, and, if necessary, Business Partners to develop product roadmaps that align with the strategic vision of the service family.
  • Share these elements within the Squad and its ecosystem.

Contribute to Needs Analysis

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and Product Experts to propose solutions, identify impacts, and estimate the necessary capacity during the general scoping phase.
  • Define, write, and get EPICs validated during the detailed scoping phase.
  • Liaise with other needs that have been expressed or have already led to the implementation of a solution/work.

Prioritize Work within the Squad

  • Feed the Squad backlog based on seasonal commitments and scoping, assign a value to each item, and prioritize and order the Squad backlog accordingly.
  • Keep the backlog up to date.
  • Plan work to adjust the product roadmap.

Support Agile Team Members to Maximize Value

  • Clearly communicate product objectives and work to be done to the team members.
  • Ensure backlog items are written according to the Definition of Ready.
  • Be present and available to answer the Squad's clarification requests.
  • Validate delivered items, ensuring a functional and quality product.
  • In collaboration with Squad members, ensure product documentation.
  • Participate with the Product Manager in preparing delivery reports.

Follow Up on Work Progress

  • Participate and contribute to Factory and Squad events.
  • Provide stakeholders with visibility on work progress.

Monitor Product Performance

  • Participate with the Product Manager and Product Experts in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for their products.
  • Monitor product usage and contribute to improving the financial and operational performance of their products.
  • Collect product feedback from users.
  • Identify actions to be taken to optimize product value based on results.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of higher education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, which has allowed you to work in an agile environment to scope and deliver a project within defined costs and deadlines.

Knowledge of the distribution sector, banking product manufacturing, or mobile applications is an additional asset.
