Im Bereich Product Management Operations arbeitest Du an der Schnittstelle zwischen IT, Product Management, Fachbereichen und operativen Einheiten. Gemeinsam mit agilen Teams entwickelst Du IT-Produkte weiter, die unser operatives Kerngeschäft unterstützen und die digitale Transformation von GLS aktiv vorantreiben.

What awaits you?

• Taking over technical responsibility for IT products in the area of our parcel logistics processes
• Close coordination with stakeholders from IT, business units, operations, and international interfaces
• Development of the product vision and roadmap as well as the further development of the respective product domain
• Maintenance and management of the product backlog, formulation of requirements, and prioritization according to benefit, feasibility, and business value
• Translation of business requirements into user stories to establish a common understanding within the team
• Structuring complex topics and supporting the team in setting the right priorities
• Creating transparency about progress and value contribution using KPIs and deriving improvements from them
• Driving process optimization, tooling, and standards in product management

What we are looking for?

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable IT-related role
• Experience in an agile software or product environment, ideally with Scrum or Kanban
• A good understanding of complex IT system landscapes and digital business processes
• Strength in stakeholder management and enjoyment in bringing different perspectives together
• A structured, analytical, and pragmatic way of working
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or comparable solutions is a plus
• You have experience in the safe and responsible use of AI tools in everyday work and know where AI supports – and where professional judgment remains crucial
• Knowledge in logistics, transport, or CEP is helpful, but not a must
