Job Description

• You are responsible for and manage the company-wide strategy development and implementation of BarmeniaGothaer in close coordination with the Head of Corporate Development and all relevant stakeholders.
• You identify, analyze, and evaluate strategic growth areas, market opportunities, and risks, and derive concrete strategic action options from them.
• You advise top management & the executive board on specific issues, professionally prepare strategic decisions, and moderate decision-making processes.
• You systematically monitor the progress of strategy implementation using appropriate OKRs & control figures, as well as efficient governance.
• You lead the strategy team technically and ensure the quality of their work results and the goal-oriented, value-adding collaboration of your team with the relevant interfaces.
• You structure & prioritize the team's backlog and develop the team technically and methodologically together with the People Lead.

Qualifications

• You convince with excellent communication skills, strong persuasive power, and pronounced conflict, mediation, and stakeholder management competence, and contribute flexible, creative solution approaches.
• You have experience with transformation processes or post-merger integrations and are eager to actively shape the resulting opportunities.
• Teamwork is a matter of course for you: Together with your management team, you shape a culture of shared responsibility, open collaboration, and high performance.
• You take active responsibility in company-wide projects, drive topics forward with a high degree of initiative and an analytical eye, and moderate strategic decision-making formats with confidence and focus.
• You have sound experience in strategy development, market and competitive analyses, as well as a pronounced understanding of corporate structures and the insurance industry.
• As a leader, you manage your team with clarity and empathy & effectively set priorities to drive strategic initiatives forward.
• Your profile is rounded off by a university degree (ideally in an economic or organizational field) and several years of experience in strategy consulting, financial consulting, or a central staff function within the insurance industry.
