Valora Digital is the tech unit of Valora. We are a team of product managers and developers building and operating modern, scalable solutions that power our retail business across Europe.

We work on customer-facing products (e.g. self-checkout), internal platforms, and business-critical applications. Our mission is to deliver real value, improve processes, and drive the digital transformation of Valora.

We own our products end-to-end, from idea to implementation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive IT transformation projects across systems, processes, and teams
• Own and manage products end-to-end (vision, roadmap, delivery, lifecycle)
• Translate business needs into clear product and project requirements
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, business, external partners)
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of initiatives
• Act as the central point of coordination between stakeholders
• Identify challenges early and proactively solve problems
• Continuously improve processes, ways of working, and product outcomes

Requirements

• Proven experience in product management; project management experience is a plus
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive topics from concept to rollout
• Ability to structure ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and make pragmatic decisions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and execution-focused
• Experience with IT systems, digital products, software delivery, or transformation initiatives
• Technical affinity and ability to work effectively with engineering teams
• Fluent in German and English (must-have); French is a strong plus
