Your Daily Life

The Toulouse Champollion site brings together activities in satellite systems engineering, payload design and development, and ground segment development and qualification. It also includes a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures, as well as activities related to very low-temperature science, with the development and production of micro-coolers for demanding markets.

Missions

  • For all assigned projects and tasks: ensure that services and products delivered to customers respect requirements, space standards, applicable rules, and internal quality requirements for hardware (HW) projects and their documentation, and provide, if necessary, a contact point for the quality authority.
  • Analyze customer quality requirements, define and implement quality plan(s) during the project phase, ensuring that the plan contains all necessary measures to meet standards and the reference system.
  • Follow the rules of the Quality Management System (QMS) of TAS Chorus 2 for all processes and tools and methodologies within TAS France.
  • Respect the quality plan, schedule, budgets, and specifications for all assigned projects and tasks.
  • Manage and contribute to project reviews (KO, EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB, DRB), ensuring they are conducted with coherent and homogeneous documentation.
  • Support technical departments during HW design reviews through validation plans, DDQS process activities, checklists, or BDREX contributions.
  • Coordinate and control all product quality activities within projects (RAMS, M&P, EEE Parts, Reliability, FMECA, etc.).
  • Document and manage project changes and deviations (RFDs, NCRs, RFWs).
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Non-Conformance Review Boards (NRBs) in case of deviations or non-compliance with product specifications.
  • Identify and propose corrective actions for critical project points. Support product inspection activities (MIPs).
  • Prepare Certificates of Conformity (COC), as well as prepare and review EIDP documentation, certifying that the quality of the delivered product complies with applicable requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure and control that subcontractor quality requirements comply with general project requirements.
  • Provide data from audits, feedback, and customer complaints to ensure risk prevention monitoring and reporting.
  • Exercise the duty of alert and veto within the team and in relation to management.

Profile

  • Master's degree in physical sciences, electronics, industrial engineering, or telecommunications.
  • Professional experience: a minimum of 2 to 3 years would be a plus.
  • Degree: Engineer or equivalent.
  • Languages: French, English (customer interface). Italian/Spanish would be a plus.
  • Knowledge in hardware inspection and technical aspects of TAS PCBA and RF/Digital equipment would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality standards for hardware projects and QMS documents applicable to PA/QA activities will be considered.
  • External and internal communication skills.
