Product QA Engineer (Automation + Manual)

Roles and Responsibility

• Design and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop detailed test plans prior to releases, including accurate effort estimations and timelines.
• Ensure products comply with internal quality benchmarks as well as industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement effective solutions for identified issues.
• Document test results, observations, and findings in a clear and structured manner.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and contribute to improving overall product quality.
• Propose and implement corrective actions, process improvements, and quality enhancements.
• Review code, specifications, and testing processes to ensure quality and consistency.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Candidate should be very good in programming - must have extensive knowledge on automation testing
• Experience in automation testing using playwright is highly appreciated. Knowledge of Selenium or Playwright.
• Candidate should be well versed with at least one programming/scripting language (Java, JavaScript or TypeScript)
• Exposure to database, should be capable to write SQL queries. Good in API testing
• Ability to take initiative and lead efforts in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Well versed in leveraging AI tools.
• Open to work with emerging and new technologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player as well.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients
