Product Software Engineer

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as a Product Software Engineer. In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, create, modify, and test software applications and systems for various products and services.
• Engage in full stack web or mobile application development across various coding languages.
• Create innovative consumer products and features using our internal programming language, Hack.
• Implement web or mobile interfaces utilizing XHTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define feature specifications and build products using frameworks like React and React Native.
• Work alongside operations and infrastructure teams to build and scale back-end services.
• Build report interfaces and data feeds.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Independently complete medium to large features, driving necessary changes in your assigned codebase, product area, or systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
• Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in software engineering or a computer-related occupation.
• Expertise in full stack web/mobile application development using at least one industry-standard language such as C, C++, Java, or C#.
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications and working with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient in implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
• Experience conducting design and code reviews.
