About the role
Blue Label Distribution is seeking a high-calibre Product Specialist to support the continued growth and optimisation of its digital product portfolio. This role combines product insight, delivery governance, and performance management within a high-scale digital and payments environment.
The successful candidate will contribute to product direction through structured analysis and experimentation, while maintaining strong operational control across backlog management, roadmap tracking, and stakeholder reporting. The role offers meaningful ownership and progression into broader product responsibility over time.
Role Purpose
The Product Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring product initiatives are insight-led, well-governed, and effectively executed. This includes supporting product discovery, maintaining delivery discipline, monitoring commercial performance, and ensuring roadmap transparency across cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities
Product Insight & Analysis • Gather, analyse, and synthesise customer, partner, and internal feedback • Conduct structured competitor and market analysis to inform product decisions • Support hypothesis-driven experimentation and validation initiatives • Identify optimisation and feature opportunities based on performance metrics
Backlog, Roadmap & Delivery Governance • Own and maintain backlog integrity, prioritisation tracking, and requirement clarity • Ensure roadmap alignment, visibility, and accurate status reporting • Maintain structured documentation of product decisions and release updates • Coordinate requirements across engineering, operations, and commercial stakeholders • Support QA, release readiness, and post-launch performance evaluation
Reporting & KPI Management • Monitor product performance, usage trends, and commercial KPIs • Develop and maintain structured dashboards and reporting packs • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making

Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Economics, or related field • 3–5 years’ experience in Product, Fintech, E-commerce, B2C digital platforms, or related environments advantageous • Experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools beneficial

A technical foundation — such as experience in Business Analysis, Product, BI, or data-focused roles — will be advantageous, particularly in environments where systems thinking, structured requirements, and performance analytics are critical
