About Global Production Stability

Global Production Stability is responsible for the stability of business applications used in the back office, branches, or via the internet. The department provides 2nd Level Application Support and uses, among others, the ITIL processes established in IT and monitoring tools to ensure the required stability of the applications.

In the Consumer Finance team, which is responsible for the stable and secure operation of consumer loan applications, there is a diverse range of tasks in an internationally oriented team.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring stable IT operations for Consumer Finance applications. Through the use of established service operations processes, we ensure smooth credit business in branches, back office, and with external providers.
• Performing logfile and root cause analyses, resolving incidents, processing service requests, and participating in problem and change management along Deutsche Bank's ITSM process chain.
• Understanding the technical details of the respective application within the overall context of the bank's infrastructure and using the tools required in L2 IT operations; optional participation in on-call duty.
• Conception and implementation of measures for the functional expansion and improvement of IT monitoring.
• Monitoring and compliance with defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Performing tasks and objectives within the framework of Business Continuity Management processes to ensure production stability.
• Ensuring the handover of initiatives and projects from application development to IT operations based on defined production readiness controls.

Your Skills and Experience

• University degree (with IT focus) or comparable education with several years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of ITSM processes (ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred)
• Many years of experience in L2 application support or in DevOps teams, with very good knowledge of essential components such as Oracle, SQL, Linux, WebLogic, Fabric, ServiceNow, as well as confident handling of our monitoring tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Geneos
• Good English skills (spoken and written), as well as very good German skills.
• Structured and organized working style combined with a high level of comprehension and self-initiative, as well as very high teamwork skills.
