RPO Recruitment's client currently seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated Production Engineer to join their mining team in the Northern Cape. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans to meet company targets and deadlines
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with the operations team to address any production issues and implement solutions
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating effectively and safely
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in production engineering
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• GCC Mines & Works
• At least 4 years' experience as a Section Engineer in the mining industry
• At least 2 years Supervisor experience
• Sound knowledge of mining operations and production processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
