Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall performance of a high-volume, highly customized vehicle retrofit and upfit operation
• Directly manage one shop manager and lead a team of approximately 15–20 hourly employees including shipping and receiving, assemblers, mechanical installers, and electrical technicians
• Drive key operational metrics including quality, production efficiency, and on-time delivery for specialized vehicle builds
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain the production schedule and manage inventory levels
• Maintain a floor-driven, hands-on leadership presence to ensure vehicles are completed and turned around efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing a team of people in a leadership capacity
• Background in automotive service management (e.g., Dealership Service Manager) or production management within an automotive environment
• Strong mechanical background with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and customization processes
