Schweizer Salinen AG produces and processes up to tons of salt per year and guarantees distribution throughout Switzerland. We employ 320 people in our three saltworks in Riburg, Schweizerhalle, and Bex. Beyond our supply mission, we continuously develop our offering with products and tourist experiences that allow people to discover salt.

Your Role

To complement our Marketing team, we are looking for a person as:

PRODUCT MANAGER (80–100 %)

Do you love managing product ranges from A to Z, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and seeing your decisions materialize on the shelves? This position is for you. As Product Manager, you will join the Schweizer Salinen Marketing team and manage the product portfolio of our various brands, particularly Sel des Alpes. The work location is Bex, with occasional travel to our production sites in the Basel region (Schweizerhalle, Riburg).

What You Can Achieve With Us

Product Management and Product Development

• Global management of the product portfolio: positioning, assortment architecture, and lifecycle management of several brands, mainly Sel des Alpes
• Management of product launch and development projects from start to finish: briefing, development, and market launch, in close collaboration with other departments (Production, Supply Chain, Quality, …)
• Cross-departmental project management: tracking milestones within deadlines and budgets
• Management of changes affecting existing products: recipe changes, production site changes, packaging, costs, monitoring commercial performance (volume, margins), and defining corrective actions
• Active competitor monitoring to identify opportunities or repositioning

Brand Management & Development of Brand Strategy

• Contribution to the development of the brand strategy and the annual marketing plan
• Conception and management of various communication activities and 360-degree campaigns in collaboration with agencies – from briefing to implementation
• Creation of sales support tools (Sales Folder, …)
• Ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
• Management and updating of product pages on our website

Your Qualities as a Professional and as a Person

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Product Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, ideally in the food/consumer goods sector; experience in industrial products and/or retail is a plus
• Proven experience in leading cross-departmental projects and collaborating with technical or production teams
• Experience in brand management and the implementation of communication campaigns
• Languages: fluent French and German; English is a plus
• Analytical and prioritization skills, with a strong sense for budgets
• Independent work style, organizational talent, and enjoyment in coordinating various stakeholders
