About

As a Product Manager for Data Acquisition Automation Systems (m/f/d), you will be responsible for our iba software and hardware solutions for measurement data acquisition in industrial automation. You will work closely with development and other product managers in a SCRUM team, actively shaping the further development of our products. Your focus will be on requirements analysis, specification, and the planning and execution of functional and integration tests.

In your role, you will be the central technical point of contact for internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Support, Technical Sales, and Documentation, as well as for our international sales regions and customers. As an interface between the market, customers, and development, you will significantly contribute to the further development of our products, their quality, and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration in the SCRUM team on the further development of our iba products (hardware and software) for measurement data acquisition in the field of automation
• Gathering, structuring, and prioritizing requirements from customers, the market, and internal stakeholders
• Planning, development, and execution of functional and integration tests, if necessary: PLC programming
• 2nd-level support and consulting
• Contribution to the creation of technical documentation, presentations, and training materials

Qualifications

• Completed Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification
• Very good SIMATIC knowledge; knowledge of other control systems is an advantage
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, PROFINET, OPC UA)
• Knowledge of industrial production processes as well as plant and project practice
• Very good MS Windows knowledge
• Strong customer orientation and enjoyment in solving problems pragmatically
• Analytical working style, willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and teamwork ability
• Advantageous: Experience in customer support
• Very good German and English skills
