Job Purpose

The Site Manager at Hope Fort Bend Clubhouse (HFBC) is responsible for the daily on‑site leadership and operational excellence of the Clubhouse. This role ensures that all programming, services, and operational practices align with the Clubhouse International Standards and support the recovery, engagement, and empowerment of adults living with mental illness.

Working under the direction of the Clubhouse Director the Site Manager provides hands‑on leadership to staff and Clubhouse Members, supports a safe and inclusive Clubhouse environment, and ensures consistent, high‑quality operations that advance HFBC’s mission.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clubhouse Operations and Program Leadership

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Clubhouse, ensuring fidelity to Clubhouse International Standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of daily work‑ordered day activities in partnership with Clubhouse Members.
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and respectful Clubhouse environment for Members, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Monitor program quality and Member engagement, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Staff Supervision and Member Support

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to assigned staff.
  • Foster a collaborative, strengths‑based, and recovery‑oriented culture among staff and Members.
  • Support Member participation in meaningful work, employment, education, and wellness activities.
  • Assist in staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing development aligned with Clubhouse philosophy.

Administrative and Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, contracts, and partner requirements.
  • Maintain accurate program records, schedules, and participation data.
  • Provide timely and accurate operational data and reports to the Executive Director.
  • Support audits, reviews, and reporting requirements as needed.

Community Engagement and Representation

  • Serve as an on‑site ambassador for HFBC, fostering positive relationships with community partners, providers, and visitors.
  • Support outreach, tours, and education efforts to promote understanding of the Clubhouse model and reduce stigma.
  • Assist in coordination of special events, training, and community activities.

Facilities and Safety

  • Assist with oversight of facility operations, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including transportation of Members when required.
  • Report maintenance, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, nonprofit management, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
  • Experience working in mental health, recovery‑oriented services, or community‑based nonprofit programs strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, or willingness to learn, the Clubhouse International Standards.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations, including individuals living with mental illness.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced, active environment.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; ability to transport Members as needed.

Working Conditions

The Site Manager works in an active Clubhouse environment where spaces are generally open and shared with Members and staff. The role requires flexibility, frequent interaction, and active engagement throughout the day. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events, trainings, or special activities.

Physical Requirements

This position may require standing or walking for extended periods, bending, lifting, kneeling, and general physical activity related to Clubhouse operations. Reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Pay

Up to $50,000.00 per year
