About

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is an end-to-end power solutions and services provider that accelerates time-to-power and delivers scalable, resilient infrastructure for mission critical environments. By integrating engineering, manufacturing, modular deployment, and lifecycle services under one platform, we streamline execution and bring complex projects online faster - without compromising performance. With more than 1.5 million square feet of U.S. manufacturing capacity, MCG supports data centers, power generation, healthcare, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and industrial facilities where uptime is non-negotiable. Mission Critical Group designs, manufactures and provides value-added services for customers requiring critical power solutions. Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.

If you’re energized by solving complex operational challenges and want to play a critical role in how work gets delivered across a growing manufacturing network—this is your opportunity.

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is looking for a Program Manager – Capacity & Allocation to support how projects are aligned to capacity across our EECOE facilities and partner network.

In this role, you won’t manage project execution—you’ll help ensure the right work is placed in the right location at the right time by driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Project Management.

You will play a key role in ensuring we are making the right decisions on where and how work gets executed to support on-time delivery and predictable execution for our customers.

Shared Goal: Never miss a commitment. No surprises.

Reliable, safe, high-quality delivery that earns customer trust.

What You’ll Own

  • Support capacity alignment across EECOE facilities and MCG partners
  • Facilitate project placement discussions (facility assignment, timing, internal vs partner execution)
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of demand vs capacity across the network
  • Drive structured alignment in recurring placement and capacity review meetings
  • Track and document placement decisions, assumptions, and constraints
  • Identify risks early and escalate as needed to support on-time delivery
  • Support Sales and Estimating with early visibility into capacity and sourcing options during pre-PO discussions
  • Contribute to the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process by providing real-time visibility into capacity and constraints

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to understand incoming demand and pipeline timing
  • Align with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Planning on facility-level capacity and constraints
  • Work with Supply Chain to understand material and fabrication impacts
  • Coordinate with Project Management to support smooth transition into execution
  • Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment across teams and enable consistent, reliable delivery

Work Environment & Travel

  • Hybrid role with flexibility across listed locations
  • Approximately 20% travel
  • Frequent interaction with manufacturing and field environments
  • Ability to navigate plant environments and lift up to 25 lbs

How You Work

  • You take ownership and drive results
  • You’re decisive and operate well under pressure
  • You bring structure to complex, multi-site execution
  • You collaborate effectively across teams and environments
  • You prioritize safety and accountability in everything you do
  • You connect demand, capacity, and execution across teams to drive clear decisions
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and follow through on commitments
  • You are comfortable working with incomplete information and helping teams move forward

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-10+ years in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or program/project management environments
  • Experience in engineered-to-order or complex manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
  • Experience with capacity planning, production flow, or demand coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with switchgear, power systems, or similar technical products is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
