About the role
Position Overview
- We are looking for a high-caliber Program Manager with over 18 years of experience to lead business-critical programs within the Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) domain. This role is pivotal in driving the intersection of traditional insurance operations—specifically Claims and Underwriting—with cutting-edge technology like OpenAI GPT 3.5/4 and advanced Data Strategy.
- The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the CIO and Quality Engineering leadership, ensuring that large-scale transformations are delivered with precision and innovative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Program Execution: Oversee and manage complex commercial underwriting and Claims programs from inception to completion.
- CIO & Executive Liaison: Manage direct communication and expectations for C-level stakeholders; influence and align strategic goals with tangible program delivery.
- Innovation Advocacy: Serve as the primary champion for Enterprise Transformation, specifically focusing on Gen AI implementation, Test Automation, and Data Strategy.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives to ensure seamless adoption of new processes, strategies, and AI-driven tools.
- Financial & Risk Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive program budgets. Proactively identify risks and dependencies across program components, establishing robust mitigation plans.
- Collaboration: Partner with Quality Engineering and Assurance leadership to ensure all delivery meets the rigorous standards of a global financial institution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Professional Tenure: 18+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in Program/Project Management and 15+ years in Testing/QA.
- Domain Expertise: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Commercial P&C and Claims.
- Gen AI Proficiency: Proven experience working with OpenAI GPT 3.5 & 4 within a corporate or delivery framework.
- Leadership Focus: Expert-level Lead Management in P&C and Test Project Management.
- Executive Presence: A proven track record of working directly with CIOs and senior leadership to drive strategic outcomes.
- Technical & Business Acumen: A powerful blend of technical understanding (Automation, AI, Data) and business process knowledge (Underwriting, Claims).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills suitable for high-level executive environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Duck Creek technologies is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience managing high-budget programs within a global insurance or financial services environment.
