About the role

About Us

A well-established healthcare construction consulting firm is looking for a Program Manager to serve as the owner's trusted advocate on complex capital improvement programs across hospital campuses and medical office buildings. This is a client-facing, high-impact role where you're the one driving programs forward — from early planning through final closeout — while keeping stakeholders aligned and projects on track inside active healthcare environments.

If you're a natural relationship builder with deep healthcare construction chops and a passion for delivering for your clients, this role was built for you.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer-subsidized premiums
  • 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar employer match plus potential discretionary contributions based on tenure
  • HSA and FSA options with employer contributions to help offset out-of-pocket costs
  • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and well-being time — front-loaded, not accrued over years
  • 100% salary replacement during extended medical leave
  • Substantial tuition reimbursement and professional development funding
  • Paid bereavement with a flexible, human definition of loss
  • Digital health and wellness perks at no cost to you

And much more!

Job Details

What You'll Do:

You'll be embedded as the client's go-to construction partner — their strategic advisor and day-to-day point of contact — while leading a full portfolio of capital projects. Specifically, you'll:

  • Act as the owner's representative across planning, design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases
  • Lead, coordinate, and advise multidisciplinary project teams including architects, engineers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Drive schedule, budget, and scope accountability across all assigned projects
  • Manage and strengthen executive-level client relationships through proactive communication and successful delivery
  • Navigate the operational complexities of both inpatient and ambulatory healthcare environments
  • Collaborate within integrated project teams while championing the client's best interests at every turn
  • Identify risks early and lead proactive mitigation strategies

What You Bring:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of healthcare construction project management experience — owner's rep, facilities, or client management
  • Strong command of healthcare programming, planning, design, and construction processes
  • Understanding of inpatient and ambulatory operational environments
  • Proven track record in client advocacy and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred / Bonus Points:

  • 10+ years of healthcare construction experience
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) designation

Why This Role Stands Out:

This isn't a role where you manage one project and call it done. You're running a program — multiple facilities, multiple stakeholders, meaningful scope — for a firm with deep roots in the healthcare sector. The work is complex, the relationships matter, and the outcomes directly impact patient care environments. The compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
