About
Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) Program Manager for its MENA operations team. The candidate should enjoy getting their hands dirty, working on the floor for conducting time and motion studies and analysis, and looking around the corners for solutions with the aim of optimization of UTR (under the roof) operations in Amazon’s last‑mile delivery stations. As an ACES Program Manager, you will be the subject matter expert for UTR operations driving standardization and optimization for MENA operations. You will focus on UTR safety, quality, productivity, and operator experience. The role requires thinking big to solve complex problems with simple, practical solutions, developing deep knowledge of operation processes and Amazon’s UTR technologies. You will own all aspects of how transportation impacts customer, shipper, and operator experience; monitor metrics, determine, then drive initiatives necessary to improve them. The position offers broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon. The successful candidate will excel at dealing with ambiguity, designing and defining products/programs with limited information, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, launch, and manage new transportation‑related products and programs in MENA.
- Benchmark UTR process and technology with Amazon‑developed markets.
- Gather requirements and conceptualize transportation solutions to solve business problems.
- Own and drive the UTR product portfolio and roadmap for MENA.
- Work with key stakeholders across various functions to define and launch a product/program.
- Own and drive the on‑ground implementation of new UTR technology launches.
- Evaluate launch outcomes and reintegrate learning into the organizational plan.
- Set up standard operating procedures for UTR processes.
- Create metrics to monitor compliance and adherence to processes.
- Contribute to deep dives and understand obstacles to improve UTR metrics on safety, quality, productivity, and associate experience.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of driving process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
