Program Manager - International Development Projects

Our client, a respected international non-profit organization, is seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee critical development projects. This hybrid role will involve a combination of on-site engagement for key meetings, stakeholder consultations, and project oversight, alongside remote work for strategic planning, reporting, and team coordination. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects focused on areas such as poverty alleviation, education, or healthcare in underserved communities. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of international development principles, and a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of international development programs. Develop project proposals, budgets, and work plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage project execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of outputs and outcomes. Oversee financial management, including budget tracking, reporting, and compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, government partners, and other NGOs. Supervise project staff and provide guidance and support to ensure effective team performance. Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions. Prepare regular progress reports for donors and organizational leadership. Ensure all project activities are aligned with organizational goals and international best practices. Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning within the program and across the organization. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex cultural and political environments.
