General Dynamics European Land Systems - Bridge Systems GmbH in Kaiserslautern produces bridge systems and amphibious vehicles for military and civilian use.

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a

Program Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Technical and administrative processing of projects (planning, execution, control)
• Interface to internal departments involved in the project, as well as external customers
• Offer preparation (from initiating GDELS approval processes to final offer preparation)
• Coordination activities upon receipt of project order (project setup in SAP, SD order, notification of when revenues are to be generated, etc.)
• Coordination of invoicing and invoice-related documents (e.g., delivery notes, GPS acceptance, Letter of Credit...) for ongoing projects
• Planning, execution, and debriefing of internal and external meetings (customer)
• Responsibility for program management meetings with international customers

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of relevant professional experience in project management, sales, acquisition, and consulting in an international context, ideally with proof of recognized project management certification
• Technical knowledge of military systems is an advantage
• Having an existing (customer) network is an advantage
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• High team spirit and strong sense of responsibility
• Independent, systematic, and structured way of working
• Strong communication skills and flexibility
• Good MS Office skills
• Fluent English skills
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to travel
