About the role
Position Overview
The Program Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple medium to large-scale technology implementation projects with moderate to high complexity across global and multi-technology environments. This role operates in a client-facing consulting capacity, providing strategic oversight and execution leadership across concurrent Oracle cloud implementations. The Program Manager will partner closely with PMO leadership to drive successful delivery, ensure alignment across business and technical stakeholders, and contribute to internal initiatives that support practice growth and continuous improvement. This position reports to the Practice Director or Managing Principal within the PMO.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing program-level oversight across multiple concurrent technology implementations
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams across onshore and offshore delivery resources to ensure successful execution
- Oversee execution of program activities, including scope alignment, resource planning, and coordination with technical and business leaders
- Drive program-level scoping, ensuring all projects align to strategic objectives and defined success criteria
- Establish and monitor measurable critical success factors across all projects within the program
- Ensure delivery aligns with cost, timeline, and quality objectives across all engagements
- Develop, maintain, and oversee program-level plans, project artifacts, and reporting structures
- Provide clear visibility into program status, risks, dependencies, and overall performance to stakeholders and leadership
- Manage program budgets and financial performance, recommending course corrections as needed
- Facilitate regular stakeholder and executive-level meetings to ensure alignment, transparency, and expectation management
- Apply and enforce established project and program management methodologies and best practices
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects, including leading recovery efforts for at-risk or underperforming engagements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, applying advanced program management principles and contributing to practice development
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience considered with minimum 20 years of professional experience or 12 years with an Associate’s degree
- Minimum of 8+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a senior-level project or program management role
- Proven leadership of at least six full lifecycle technology implementations in a project or program management capacity
- Experience managing global or multi-product implementations across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent time management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote
- Strong understanding of cloud software development lifecycle methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches
Technical Requirements
Candidates must have project management or hands-on experience with at least three of the following:
- Oracle Cloud ERP including Fusion, SCM, and Financials
- Oracle HCM or Oracle PeopleSoft
- Oracle E-Business Suite
- Oracle Fusion Middleware
- Amazon Web Services
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Enterprise-level custom software development
- Integration platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or Oracle Cloud Integration Service
- Salesforce implementation experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification such as PMP, PGMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and communication tools
- Ability to travel up to 60–70% annually based on client and project requirements
