About

The MSA Senior Program Manager, Business Operations Transformation is responsible for BPRE strategic program management, oversight, process improvements, and governance for the Service, Delivery & Operations division, as a key member of the Business Transformation team. Position will perform business process reengineering (BPRE) strategic planning and analysis, facilitating multiple BPRE initiatives and business improvement projects.

Requires consulting, organizing, and leading senior management to accomplish project initiatives aimed at transforming business workforce environments, designed to address the customer experience. I will collaborate with leadership, key stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to understand unique operations challenges along with complex processes and systems.

Requires a consultative approach and proven track record of successfully managing complex, high-visibility initiatives, driving transformative projects delivering high-quality deliverables, and fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Projects will vary in size, duration, and complexity; will have significant and measurable business value outcomes; highly visible with executive-level sponsorship. Requires excellent business acumen, change management, continuous improvement/lean practices, and operational analysis for the rollout of Business Transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Business Transformation Operations department projects
  • Develop and implement phased strategies and adoption plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding needs, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain required project artifacts by PMI.org industry standards and rail funding regulations
  • Mentor on project management practices, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide timely financial performance and forecasting reports, working closely with business and financial project managers
  • Identify and implement improvements to drive operational efficiencies and cost reductions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or equal work, training, and education
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively respond to complex information
  • Must manage coordination and execution at both high and detailed levels, across multiple teams and projects
  • 12 years experience with significant hands-on Program and Project management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.
  • Expertise with project management, procurement and finance system interactions such as MS Project, Ariba On Demand, SAP
  • Must have work authorization in the United States.
