Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Program Manager / Senior Energy Manager located in Hanover, NH. The program manager will manage the implementation of energy conservation measures (ECMs)/Projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Key responsibilities include planning and managing the installation of lighting efficiency upgrades, developing project schedules and budgets, coordination of installation activities with facilities stakeholders and contractors, developing RFPs for labor and material, managing project material inventory, coordinating and initiating designs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing regular progress updates to client report and stakeholders. The program manager will supervise between 1 to 3 PM/APMs directly supporting the program. This role will also involve managing and identifying other energy efficiency initiative opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong program and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budget management, resource allocation, and risk assessment
  • Minimum 10-years' experience in project management or similar energy or engineering role.
  • Minimum 5-years' experience in lighting solutions and lighting controls preferred
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience with energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and innovative energy system design.
  • Understanding of facilities management, resilient infrastructure, and working in and around critical facility operations
  • Familiarity working in and around occupied facilities
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and communication, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary team leadership
  • Effective reporting, data tracking, and presentation skills a must
  • Strong ability to work independently and with a team to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PE, RA, LC, CLEP, PMP, LEED) are a plus
  • Prior experience managing energy projects
