Program Manager (SME)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and operational support of MXU missions and critical incidents
• Define and manage program objectives, scope, and success criteria aligned with organizational goals
• Develop and maintain a program roadmap, including:
  • Timelines
  • Milestones
  • Deliverables
• Identify and manage project dependencies to ensure smooth execution
• Coordinate across project managers and teams to:
  • Monitor progress
  • Address issues
  • Ensure collaboration and consistency
• Ensure risk management by:
  • Identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks
  • Acting as escalation point for unresolved issues
• Manage program resources (budget, personnel, tools):
  • Control costs
  • Align with financial goals
  • Identify and address resource gaps
• Establish clear communication channels across teams, stakeholders, and projects
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand government requirements for:
  • Infrastructure
  • Applications
  • Services
• Provide regular reports and metrics on:
  • Efficiency
  • Effectiveness
  • Reliability of systems and services
• Stay informed on government agency strategies and recommend efficiency improvements
• Maintain strong relationships with MXU customers and partners
• Ensure knowledge sharing and proper documentation for future reference
• Act as the central point of contact for all program-related communications

Experience

• Program management experience in a technology or government contracting environment
• Demonstrated experience managing petabyte-scale, complex technology programs, preferably within government or law enforcement sectors
• Strong knowledge of SAFe/Agile methodologies, software development life cycles (SDLC), and modern project management tools
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage cross-functional projects involving:
  • Software development
  • Cybersecurity
  • IT infrastructure
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidelines, including Executive Order 14028 and related regulations
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of technology programs
