In this role you will be responsible of leading dynamic Solar design teams and ensure proper design, delivery of Solar projects to their clients. This will include dynamic engagement with clients and stakeholders as well co-ordinating internal and external sub-contractor teams.

This role would suit a Project or Program Manager with experience in Solar Engineering technology designs looking for a new role whereby you would be challenged and utilised fully for your Solar Engineering Design and Project Management knowledge alike. Our client has led the way on some incredible and unique solutions and upskilled their staff in obtaining these deliveries for their clients.

THE ROLE:

  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of 50-100 solar engineering projects, driving delivery from feasibility through to construction design.
  • Lead engineering coordination and client communication, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Oversee design deliverables, ensuring quality, code compliance, and alignment with project schedules and milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external consultants while removing bottlenecks and making timely technical decisions to maintain project throughput.

THE PERSON:

  • 7+ years of experience in solar electrical engineering and/or engineering project management.
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of concurrent projects (30+ simultaneously) with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and PV design tools (PV Syst and/or Helioscope).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work independently, make decisions quickly, and deliver high-quality engineering documentation.
