The Role
The Systems, Workflow & Technology organization empowers the entire content journey from concept to audience engagement with innovative production systems, refined workflows, and cutting-edge technology solutions. We are in search of a motivated and execution-driven Program Manager to help shape the future of content production and implement pioneering technology that inspires creativity and resonates with audiences globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution framework for a diverse portfolio within production operations and media solutions.
- Coordinate various organizational programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, identifying potential risks, and finding solutions to production or creative challenges.
- Communicate program status, progress, and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Directly manage multiple projects, developing and maintaining effective project plans and executing against them.
- Promote collaboration across cross-functional teams, fostering a transparent and cooperative environment among stakeholders.
- Work closely with Netflix product teams and production technology teams to create internal solutions or assess third-party options, ensuring operational alignment and feasibility.
- Design and implement change management strategies in collaboration with regional teams and global support organizations, facilitating smooth rollouts of operational processes and new products.
- Establish a regular and clear process for portfolio reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource management, ensuring measurable improvements with high impact.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of project and/or program management experience, with a preference for both; having a background in management consulting or an MBA is advantageous.
- Expertise in methodologies and tools for increasing process efficiency and promoting continuous improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Scrum).
- Capability to quickly understand concepts related to innovative technologies (e.g., Generative AI).
- Strong ability to engage respectfully and confidently with executives and operational team members.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and navigating a high workload efficiently.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and adept at problem-solving on the go.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of presenting and advocating for new strategies and workflows.
- Familiarity with the product development workflow is strongly preferred (e.g., project management, user acceptance testing, functional documentation).
- Understanding of the content creation process is preferred (e.g., on-set production and post-production workflows and metadata).
At Netflix, we offer a competitive compensation structure based solely on an annual salary, without bonuses. You have the flexibility to allocate your compensation between salary and stock options, tailored to your preferences. The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000.
