In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing complex ICT projects using conventional, agile (e.g., SAFe), and hybrid approaches. You will work closely with stakeholders within the BIT and external partners to manage risks and communicate results transparently. As a Servant Leader, you will support agile teams, fostering self-responsibility and self-organization. The position contributes to the implementation of public projects in Switzerland and relies on clear structure, execution competence, and stakeholder-oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Planning, leadership, and responsibility for complex projects according to conventional, agile, and hybrid methods
• Identification and preparation of decision-making bases; escalation of critical points
• Identification, evaluation, and active management of risks in the area of responsibility
• Regular reporting to program and management committees
• Support of teams as a Servant Leader and promotion of self-responsibility and self-organization
• Close collaboration with stakeholders within the BIT or the federal administration and external partners

Qualifications

• Certifications in project management (e.g., IPMA, PMI, or HERMES) and agile methods (e.g., SAFe, Scrum)
• Several years (min. 5 years) of experience as an ICT Project Manager in complex projects; proven experience in the use of agile methods (e.g., SAFe or Scrum)
• Structured, efficient, and responsible working style with entrepreneurial thinking
• Visionary and implementation-oriented work style; ability to sharpen, structure, and lead projects to completion
• Transparent communication and ability to present complex issues at the appropriate level to specialists, management, and stakeholders
• Good knowledge of two official languages and good English skills
