Project Accountant

RealREPP is a nationally recognized, full-service recruitment firm who has teamed up with a growing, stable, and dynamic MEP Design Build Construction firm to assist them in hiring a Project Accountant in undefined, undefined.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements.
• Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget.
• Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s
• Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports.
• Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs.
• Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years’ of project accounting experience preferred
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
