A leading engineering and federal systems organization is seeking a Project Analyst to support a growing Navy and defense aftermarket business. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a long-term pathway into Project or Program Management within a highly technical, operations-driven environment.
Working closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll support the full project lifecycle — from order intake and system coordination through invoicing, reporting, and project closeout — while helping maintain operational efficiency across a high-volume defense manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support order processing and project execution from award through completion
- Enter, validate, and maintain sales orders within ERP/MRP systems
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve workflow and order issues
- Track project status, backlog, timelines, and execution metrics
- Assist with invoicing, proof of delivery documentation, and project closeout activities
- Maintain accurate project, contract, and customer records
- Support reporting, data analysis, and operational performance tracking
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Strong Excel, Outlook, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, program support, or related environments preferred
- Exposure to defense, manufacturing, logistics, or government contracting environments is advantageous
