The Role

We're looking for a driven, organised, and passionate Project Assistant Intern to support the day-to-day execution of our programs, events, and operations. This is a hands-on role — you'll work closely with the founding team, touching everything from community coordination to content support to event logistics.

What You'll Do

  • Support planning and coordination of live coding classes, camps, and community events (including our Youth Day coding camp in June)
  • Assist with family and student communications via WhatsApp and email
  • Help coordinate content and scheduling across social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp)
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and operations team
  • Assist with onboarding of new families and maintaining learner records
  • Support data capture, reporting, and general research tasks as needed.

Who You Are

  • A student or recent graduate in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion passionate about education, technology, and African youth development
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal hand-holding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with Brevo, ClickUp, Later, Hootsuite, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Based in Johannesburg or able to work remotely with occasional in-person availability.
