Project Controller

A renowned international mining company is looking to hire a Project Controller to join their global Closure team. This is a 12-month contract (possibility of extension or permanence), working in a hybrid model in Montreal. The role is bilingual (English & French) and reports into leadership teams in France and the USA.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in project controls (mining, energy, construction, or heavy industry preferred)
• Bilingual in English and French — both are required for this role
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Power BI
• Experience with earned value management, forecasting, and accruals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to build relationships across global teams
• Self-directed and comfortable managing your own schedule across time zones

You'll stand out if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience with portfolio-level project controls across multiple concurrent projects
• Background in change management and progress management methodologies
• Familiarity with mine closure or environmental remediation projects
