Overview

Canada Keli New Technology Development Ltd. is seeking a Project Coordinator based in our site to support fabrication, construction, and maintenance projects.

This role focuses on coordinating construction activities, materials, and project execution, ensuring work progresses efficiently and aligns with project schedules, cost control, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily construction activities, including fabrication, assembly, and material preparation
  • Act as the communication link between project managers, shop supervisors, and field teams
  • Track project progress and ensure alignment with schedules and deliverables
  • Assist in material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory tracking
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including:
    • Work orders
    • Daily progress reports
    • Material tracking logs
    • Delivery schedules
  • Support cost tracking and ensure expenses align with project budgets
  • Coordinate logistics for materials, equipment, and transportation to site
  • Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements
  • Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues in the shop
  • Support project close-out documentation and reporting

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in:
    • Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related), or
    • Construction Management, or
    • Relevant technical field
  • 1–3 years of experience in:
    • Oil & gas
    • Construction or fabrication shop environment
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills (English required; Mandarin is an asset)
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Project tracking tools (experience with scheduling tools is an asset)

Preferred Assets

  • Experience working in shop/fabrication environments
  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment, piping, or structural fabrication
  • Basic understanding of project cost tracking and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of safety standards (HSE practices in Alberta)

Work Location

  • Nisku, Alberta (Shop-based)
  • Occasional travel to Calgary office or project sites if required

Job Types

  • Full-time, Fixed term contract
  • Contract length: 36 months

  • $25.00-$35.00 per hour
