Our client is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial for the successful execution of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to facilitate communication, track progress, and manage project documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of project management principles. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, supporting a globally distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Project Managers in the planning, execution, and closing of projects.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinating project activities and ensuring clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Tracking project progress, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Managing project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
- Facilitating project meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
- Liaising with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Supporting the development of project proposals and presentations.
- Monitoring project performance and reporting on key metrics.
- Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar project support role is essential, with a minimum of 3 years.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, MS Project) is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing project needs.
Location
- This position is based in Zaria, Kaduna, NG, but the work is conducted entirely remotely.
