Project Director, Construction Manager,Senior Project Managers

About

For our office based in Switzerland we are looking for Senior Project Managers. Your main responsibility is to contribute to project management activities by defining, planning and realizing capital expenditure projects. This includes feasibility studies, technical and financial appraisals, basic engineering, tender documents, overall project administration, commissioning and performance tests.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master degree in engineering, chemistry or physics
• 3/5 years professional experience in the cement manufacturing industry and in cement plant operations
• Expert in management of large capital expenditure projects
• Proven track record in construction management in the cement industry
• Broad experience in plant design and/or construction
• Knowledge of financial tools to evaluate investment projects
• Excellent negotiation skills in English and, at a minimum, fluency in a second European language (German, French or Spanish)

The job involves frequent travel abroad (approx. 40-60%).

You must be open to temporary site assignment outside Switzerland. An understanding of other cultures and excellent communication skills as well as strategic and conceptual thinking are required.
