Project Engineer

Tasks, Competencies, and Responsibility

• Project Engineering: Planning and realization of smaller to medium technical projects in all phases (evaluation, basic and detailed planning, piloting, realization of investment projects and optimization of ongoing plants)
• Project Management: Responsible for costs, deadlines, and functionality for assigned projects and tasks. Project monitoring and reporting according to the Capital Project Planning and Execution process
• Guarantees high availability of these installations and is responsible for ensuring they comply with relevant safety regulations and laws
• Works closely with other departments (Process Engineering, Operation, Operations Engineering)
• Performs on-call duty
• Project work on new technologies and applications (e.g., aseptic single-use applications in biotechnology)
• Manages the subordinate EMR engineers and EMR planners in projects
• Creation and responsibility for project budget
• Participation in and/or leadership of assigned technical responsibility

Professional Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or Masters in Electrical, Automation, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent
• Professional experience in EMR Engineering
• Knowledge in managing smaller projects
• Interest in electronics and precision mechanics, computer science
• Awareness of cGMP
