Project Engineer - Entry Level

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the successful execution of construction projects by assisting with estimation coordination, project documentation control, job costing, and construction reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in construction project engineering while working closely with experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordination and management on active construction projects.
• Review and process subcontractor submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, job costing, estimate coordination and drafting.
• Support the creation and updating of project schedules and look-ahead schedules.
• Track work in progress, productivity, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with procurement and material tracking for subcontractor scopes of work.
• Support the Project Manager with cost control, budget tracking, and work order reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong interest in construction project management and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in math with high level of understanding trigonometry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
