About the role
Description • This role is responsible for leading end-to-end project execution—planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery within scope. • It involves driving team performance, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintaining effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Plan, schedule, monitor, and control project execution to ensure timely delivery and completion within scope. • Organize and coordinate the Project Team to meet scheduled project milestones and timelines. • Conduct capacity planning, coordination, and scheduling to optimize shifts, construction crews, and resources, achieving productivity and cost targets. • Lead resource planning efforts, ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle. • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to implement optimal procurement and logistics strategies, securing project materials and resources. • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of all project documentation to clients, while upholding quality standards. • Interface with Supply Chain and Engineering teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, drawings, and documents to prevent site delays. • Drive continuous improvement in construction/fabrication efficiency, working towards reduced timelines and enhanced delivery speed. • Direct, motivate, and manage project personnel, fostering a high-performance team environment. • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and successful project outcomes. • Lead quality improvement initiatives, reducing quality issues across project operations. • Ensure the health and safety of all project personnel, continuously improving site safety and records. • Partner with the Compliance Department to establish processes enhancing both quality and safety standards. • Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or safety incidents, working with the Compliance Department to close out non-conformances. • Collaborate with Engineering and Compliance Teams to prepare and manage project documentation and document control. • Assist the Sales Team in preparing preliminary project documentation during the tendering phase. Competencies and Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 6 years project management experience, preferably in manufacturing, oil and gas, or engineering environments. • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management, and construction safety standards. • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performance teams. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Proficiency in analysing and optimizing project costs, schedules, and resources. • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality project documentation and compliance. • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions and continuous improvement.
