Travel

~10% (International travel to Canada & Mexico for benchmarking, observations, and hands-on support)

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate project feasibility, including scope, schedule, and budget analysis
• Develop detailed scope of work, bid packages, and project specifications
• Review and interpret technical drawings; provide feedback and drive design improvements
• Ensure compliance with local and national safety codes and standards
• Collaborate with third-party safety compliance contractors
• Work cross-functionally to design, install, and commission equipment while meeting project milestones
• Supervise contractors in both greenfield and brownfield environments
• Coordinate installation activities with skilled trades, engineers, vendors, and equipment manufacturers
• Monitor project timelines and develop countermeasures to mitigate delays
• Support benchmarking activities through limited international travel

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with bid specification development and contractor negotiations
• Minimum 2+ years of experience reviewing technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Strong project management background
• Experience in automotive paint processes or paint systems
• Ability to understand and calculate utility costs
• Exposure to automotive manufacturing environments
