Solutions Architect

About

As a Solutions Architect, you are responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions in the media, broadcast, and IT sectors within our international customer projects. You share responsibility for project success and meet targets on time and within budget. You have strong communication skills and a deep understanding of current technical solutions and market developments in the broadcast and IT sectors. You also support our customers on-site or remotely as needed, ensuring that all relevant media, broadcast, and IT systems function smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Conception and planning of technical solutions in the media, broadcast, and IT sectors
• Shared responsibility for project success
• Handling technically demanding tenders or proposals
• Coordination with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams
• Supporting our customers beyond normal working hours as needed and taking on on-call duties
• Testing, error analysis, documentation, problem-solving, supplier management, including on-site assignments
• Technical commissioning of AV and IT components as well as problem identification and resolution
• Conducting acceptance tests and accompanying on-air processes
• The focus is on project execution, but active participation in pre-sales activities as a technical expert is desirable and mandatory if required

Qualifications

• Completed engineering degree (Diplom or Master) with several years of professional experience
• Understanding of modern IT concepts, e.g., in the areas of virtualization, cloud computing, web services, microservices, etc.
• Basic scripting and programming skills
• Proven experience in contributing to international technical projects
• Experience in system maintenance, technical service, and support is an advantage
• High willingness to learn and quick comprehension
• Good knowledge of German, English, or French (depending on location), also as a second language
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
