In our engineering department within the “Air Quality Control Systems” business unit in Raaba, we are currently looking for a Project Engineering Manager (M/F/d) to strengthen our team in the field of CO₂ capture.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, leading, and supporting the technical disciplines in a plant construction project (layout, steel construction, piping, electrical, etc.)
  • Optimizing the plant design considering project budget, schedule, standards, guidelines, and customer contract
  • Responsible for implementing the technical concept according to the contract
  • Coordinating resources and tasks within a project team
  • Creating standards, specifications, and templates in the project
  • Assisting the technical disciplines in procurement activities
  • Ensuring compliance with norms, specifications, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborating on capacity planning in coordination with the managers in the department

Profile

  • Completed technical education (HTL, university, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, or similar
  • Experience in project‑based business, preferably in large industrial projects
  • Leadership experience is desirable
  • Good knowledge of project management tools, MS Project, MS Teams, and MS Office
  • Strong communication skills in technical discussions and negotiations, a team player
  • Innovative thinking and interest in contributing to the development of a relatively new business segment
  • Proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented work approach
  • Willingness to travel up to a maximum of 30 % worldwide
  • Fluent English skills in spoken and written form, knowledge of German and other languages is advantageous

Salary

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.269,07 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market‑based salary.
