The DNA Group is seeking a UX Project Lead for our client. In this role, you will lead end-to-end design and implementation of improvements to the digital hiring experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, PeopleSoft experts, and stakeholders to drive user-centered design, optimize workflows, and deliver impactful digital solutions. This position requires strong UX expertise, project leadership, and the ability to manage complex initiatives in a fast-paced government environment.

Overview Requirements:

  • Lead large-scale UX transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and agencies
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
  • Facilitate cross-departmental workshops to map business processes and user journeys
  • Design site maps, wireframes, storyboards, and interaction flows
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to improve digital hiring systems
  • Collaborate with developers, PeopleSoft experts, and IT teams for implementation
  • Translate research insights into actionable design improvements
  • Support prioritization and implementation of system enhancements
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet defined goals
  • Create visual designs aligned with UI style guides and standards
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, UX, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in UX, human-centered design, or related field
  • Expertise in UX design, design research, prototyping, testing, and implementation
  • Strong experience managing complex digital projects, preferably in government environments
  • Experience conducting user research and translating insights into solutions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops with senior-level stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Figma, Miro, Adobe Sketch (or similar), and Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and HTML (preferred)
