About the role

The Opportunity

  • Provide project management support to a federal energy client for research and development (R&D) programs.
  • Work with a project team to support all aspects of the project life cycle, including project initiation, solicitation, and procurement.
  • Monitor project performance against awards, costs, schedules, and milestones.
  • Prepare written reports and briefs to illustrate project status and accomplishments.
  • Coordinate and support meetings and conferences.
  • Work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality output on-time and within budget.
  • Work directly with the client to assist with developing and executing R&D projects successfully.
  • Assist with operational analysis and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in multiple projects.

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience with program or project support to a government or R&D organization
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Management Analyst, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, Scheduler, or Project Management Financial Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience with schedule management, project financial management, quality management, scope management, or project management
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary

  • The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
