Your daily life
Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems business, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne armament systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets, etc.), force protection systems, and area control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site handles research and development, production, testing, and all the "support" functions necessary for the design of high-performance systems essential for the success of operational missions.
Thales has formed a Joint-Venture with the German defense group DIEHL, "JUNGHANS T2M," which has 165 employees, enabling both companies to combine their precision electronics and mechanics expertise and become a world leader in ammunition fuzes. This Joint-Venture is also present at the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.
In the scope of its specialty, the PMO Bid is responsible for:
- Developing, deploying, and improving standards (processes, methods, and tools) for bid and project management within the organization;
- Assisting and challenging teams, particularly on opportunity and risk management;
- Cadencing and reporting on bids and project milestones;
- Producing and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), especially through bid and project dashboards;
- Participating in bid and project reviews, and progress meetings;
- Capitalizing on best practices and proposing recommendations and improvements;
- Leading lessons learned for the benefit of future projects: managing the associated process, collecting and sharing lessons learned.
Your profile
- Holder of a Bac+5 degree from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least five years of confirmed experience in business management, project coordination, or operations management, preferably in a business environment.
- Do you have excellent project management skills?
- Do you have the ability to develop and implement continuous improvement and risk mitigation plans?
- Do you have a strong aptitude for analyzing data and providing accurate reports?
- Do you master computer tools and project management software?
