About This Role

In this role, you act as a trusted sparring partner for senior management and project leaders alike. You combine strong analytical and system-level thinking with the ability to read organizational dynamics, navigate executive-level discussions and build credibility quickly. You influence without formal authority and drive change through clarity, persuasion and pragmatic solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, govern and continuously improve multi‑project management frameworks, standards and governance for Group Division Innovation (R&D).
  • Define, implement and operate project management processes, methods, tools, KPIs and evaluation criteria, acting as the go‑to expert for methodology.
  • Perform portfolio, budget and performance controlling analyses; synthesize multi‑source data and recommend actions to support management decisions.
  • Own the continuous improvement of methods, standards and tools, identifying root causes and ensuring sustainable adoption across teams.
  • Act as a change agent by translating methodological and process-related improvements into compelling narratives for executives, steering committees and project teams, ensuring alignment, buy-in and sustainable implementation.
  • Provide expert guidance, training and coaching to peers and stakeholders to ensure correct application of methods and compliance with standards.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment on resources, priorities and ways of working; resolve complex methodological and governance issues.
  • Establish and maintain transparent documentation and reporting standards for steering committees and senior stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Engineering, or relevant field (ETH/ University/ University of Applied Sciences)
  • Strong expertise in classic and agile project management, with a clear focus on methodology, governance and process excellence.
  • Proven experience influencing and enabling cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Analytical, structured thinking with a problem‑solver mentality.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to translate data and insights into pragmatic recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder intuition and interpersonal skills; able to quickly read situations and audiences, adapt communication styles and build trust across all levels – from executive committees to project teams.
  • Fluent business English (written and spoken); confident working in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Project management certification (PfMP, IPMA B) preferred.
  • Proactive, service‑oriented personality with high accountability and resilience.
