Your Daily Life

Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems business, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets, etc.), force protection systems, and area control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site handles research and development, production, testing, and all the necessary "support" functions for the design of high-performance systems essential for the success of operational missions. Thales has formed a Joint-Venture with the German defense group DIEHL, "JUNGHANS T2M," which has 165 employees, enabling both companies to combine their precision electronics and mechanics expertise and become a world leader in ammunition fuzes. This Joint-Venture is also present at the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.

By joining us, you will be integrated into the Operations Department of the VTS France domain, based at our La Ferté Saint Aubin site.

You will contribute to operational activities of a Project Management Office nature on a set of programs.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, Work Package Managers, and Project Management Officers responsible for the discipline for the domain.

Within the framework of projects of complexity and criticality A0, A1, and A2:

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and improve project management standards (processes, methods, and tools) within the organization;
  • Assist and challenge teams, particularly on managing opportunities and risks;
  • Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Participate in project reviews and progress meetings;
  • Capitalize on best practices and propose recommendations and improvements.

You will support the Project Manager in structuring the project. You will bring your skills in planning, estimation, risk and opportunity management, as well as execution performance.

Your Profile

  • Holder of a BAC+5 (engineering school, university Bac+5, or equivalent), you have skills/experience in:
    • PMO (Project Management Officer) roles
    • Implementing, structuring, and managing all PMO missions: planning, risks, financial management, and reporting
    • Gathering information, sharing, and tracking milestones, expenses, and remaining work
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and PMO processes: Primavera, ARM tools
    • Writing documents, dashboards, and the risk and opportunity register
  • IPMA certification (level C or D) is strongly recommended
